I went looking online for someone that would be able to rebuild and refinish an old library bench that was near and dear to my heart. I found Jim and Eileen's website and got in touch with them via email. It seemed they were the right people to do the job.
The bench, of quarter sawn white oak, was quite a challenge as the seat fell into 4 pieces, the underside was full of mold, the arms were missing and most of the under structure had to be replaced. Jim was able to restore this bench near to its original glory and Eileen did the refinishing. Today, the bench sits in our family room and I simply love the work they did on it.
Jim and Eileen kept in constant touch with me during this process. They always consulted me as to what I wanted done and if I would approve additional expenses, etc. I found them very professional, friendly and easy to deal with. Over all, a very good experience.
